Transistor identification question?

I have a NAD receiver that while in the schematic shows a particular transistor with one identifier, the label on the part shows something different. Are these two functionally equivalent/interchangeable or is this a problem with the service manual being different then production?

You are right: that is a 2sc930 and it appears very similar, albeit with a little less gain (hfe).
