Transistor replacement (2SC828 and 2SC1685)

Hi all,

I'm looking for replacement for those to transistor for my project:

• 2SC828
• 2SC1685

I found the following replacement for 2SC828:

• KSC1815 (Digikey has KSC1815YTA, never sure what the letters at the end means)
• BC548BU (Digikey has it)

And the following replacement for 2SC1685:

• 2SC2274 (Discontinued)
• 2SC945 (Discontinued)
• 512-KSC1845FTA (Digikey has it)

Are the replacement Digikey has ok?

Realized I stopped my post before even asking the question. Updated now.

For the 2sc828, the KSC1815YTA is a good replacement. The 'Y' is the hFE range (120 - 240), and the 'TA' means it is provided on tape and reel.

For the 2sc1685, the KSC1815YTA is also good here. The KSC1845 is a bit short on the max Ic.
