transistors sub question

I wish to replace the 8 transistors on the preamp tone board of my 2238b.
Only 1 is bad but I'll do them all anyway.

The original transistors are 2sa841 and 2sc1681.

I can get some 2sa970BL and 2sc2240BL locally so I'd like to use that.

Would it be Ok?

I checked at the store and they are GR version.
I know suffix GR and BL has to do with HFe so is it a bad idea to use the GR?

Also looking to replace 2sa750, 2sc1885. Any good sub?
