Transmission Line speakers?

I have been eyeing Transmission Line speakers as of late....

Has anybody built a a pair of the TriTrix MTM that PartsExpress has?


Also, what parameters are required for TL drivers? Similar to Ported?

Lastly, does anybody know of a box design program that does TL designs?

Wish I could help. I've got two pairs in my basement in the midst of a build. Then I had to work in a different city for a while... Maybe this summer.

Martin King has a program that does TL sims and the Planet10 site has some pages on TL's as well.

I built the Tritrix in TL cabinets, then later ported cabinets. I thought the tweeters were just a bit harsh, not bad though. They are a decent value for a new speaker, no regrets buying them and learning something along the way. I would not consider them a true 2 channel speaker. Dual purpose (HT) would probably be more appropriate.
