Tri strap to UL

I have a SE amp setup in triode. It has a 1k/2w resistor for the strap. My opt's have a UL tap. Can I just unstrap and run the 1k resistor from g2 to the UL tap? Or will I have to change the resistor value?

That would be a fine place to start, then check your screen voltage at the tube and do the normal bias stuff. (if needed) If you have a variac, these are the times it's handy.
