I was at a job today and was talking to the owner while his relatively new
system was playing. We started talking about audio and I had a chance to check out some of his "new" gear. The speakers were Triangle Celius running with a Carey SS amp and CD. The Celius had a very nice sound stage and I was impressed by the mid,s and highs. He was still burning every thing in but I did not think that the low end was as good as other systems I was used to. The
thing that impressed me the most, was the depth and overall crispness. Granted
the room was not the greatest as far as current placement and dimensions are concerned and I did offer a few ideas on speaker repositioning. It has been a long time since I have had a chance to listen to current models and gear, considering the amount of dollars he spent, I was very happy with my vintage collection when I left.
