Hi all, I have just been lucky enough to buy a Trio 600T tuner via ebay and love, love, love it!! However it didn't come with a user manual and I wondered if anyone out there has one that they could send me either as a hard or scanned copy? I tried Trio-Kenwood but they don't have any available. I have managed to download a service manual but would like to get hold of the user manual too.
Also I would welcome any advice on things that might need attention from those more familier with this fine bit of kit. The IF Band lights on my unit only lights upper on the centre green LED (the 3 red LEDs below the 5 green IF Band light all work). I have read in another thread that someone fixed a similar problem with his unit by re-flowing the pcb solder joints of the IF Band switch and IF band LED indicator - I plan to try this in the next few days. Anyone else had problems of this kind?
Has anyone had experience on using masthead FM amps to boost the FM signal? I'm in a weak signal area and have a roof top mounted 4 element FM aerial but feel that I may need to boost it - at best I'm curently getting a signal strength of 55/60 on the 600T signal strength meter.
