Hallo,

anyone familiar with one of these??? Unfortunately not much information about these vintage tube receiver anywhere. Apparently build by kenwood, as far as i know. Very interesting thing is that the output stage in single ended el84 which usually means only one: very good sound.
I temporarily look for some good vintage single ended el84 amp/reveiver/power amp. Alternative i also consider telefunken concerto 2500 which i know very good since friend of mine used it in his high efficient horn system as reference amp (he even prefers it to his other amp which is audio note vindicator).

It would be great if anyone could tell me something about trio. I like the idea that it´s integrated amp with build it phono stage.

Any other suggestions about single ended el84 amps are highly appreciated.

Kenwood was Trio's brand name for most world markets until they changed the corporate name to Kenwood in the 80s. It would be more accurate to say that Kenwood stuff was built by Trio, but they're the same company.
 
I rebuilt a single ended 6BQ5 Trio for cableguy, and I think it's still hooked up to speakers.:yes:
