CONGRATULATIONS! Not only on the Advent triple, but on getting rid of all the excess and claiming back your space.
I've been "in the process" for a while... but haven't made nearly the headway that I would have wished. Every time I clear a few things out, something "special" comes up that I "have to have". Heck, I have to sell TWO regular receivers just to 'break even' on bringing home that monstrous SX-1250. It grew on the way home, being smaller in the large warehouse than in my modest-sized apartment.
Today someone asked me urgently if I had one of a couple models of the 22XX receivers, in working condition. Any one, needn't be perfect, just had to function sonically, and I could make an immediate $100 profit over what I pay for them. The only one they listed that I had one of (2226B) was NOT working! But I knew where one was, without knobs but maybe working. Went there, checked it and it works fine. I'll swap the knobs off my non-working one and sell it for the immediate $100 gain, which will more than pay for those unusual National speakers I found.... but it won't reduce my audio clutter any, since the one I'm selling I'm buying and flipping. Still have to sell something else to bring those Nationals home. I DID sell a pair of speakers today, but they were already in a consignment shop, so that didn't reduce clutter, either. I know, I know, I need to give up collecting and just enjoy the music on one (maybe two) "best" systems... but it's hard to do that when you aren't quite "ready" to yet. The "hunting" and "scoring" is SO MUCH FUN!

:yes::sigh:

That's why I really mean "congatulations". :thmbsp:
:scratch2: I don't know what you are like in other parts of your life, but in this area, you are a more highly-evolved species than I am.
Please post your impressions of the Triple Advents, after you've had a chance to listen to them.
