Troubleshoot Crown SA-2 Right Channel in Clip Reset Cycle

I have this Crown SA-2 amplifier that I really enjoyed listening to. One day, all of a sudden, there was a pop sound and then the meter on the right channel started a cycle of clipping and resetting. Wondering what is the cause.

Could be a lot of things, none of them simple. Get it to a tech.
