Troubleshooting Denon DRA 825R

I started this thread on another board and was referenced to try over here. Im not sure if this is the right place for questions but here goes it.

I retrieved four tower speakers which I am currently fixing, a Denon DRA 825R, and a Denon DCD 820 CD player from storage. The DRA has a functioning screen and buttons and lights, but i receive no sound from either the headphone jack or the speaker hook. while I do not have an antenna attached, when I go to radio I assume I would have white noise or static but I get no volume at all. While in CD mode, the same lapse of volume.

Ive worked with electrical equipment before but dont havemmuch experience with audio equipment.

Initially I was unsure if the problem was the DRA or the DCD or the connection in between but have since used the DCD with a television RCA and tested the RCA connector. A side from that I've toggled with settings, tried to RCA connect to a slot other than "CD." I found that the most common replacement for this issue was the Pre Outs being not connected to the main ins. The metal connector was in the pre out to main in, and I removed it and replaced it with RCA wiring and that did not fix my issue. I've also tried to work with the tape monitor loop and connect RCA wires between the in and out of tape 1 and I dont believe that worked.

Looking for suggestions as to what the problem could be. Like I said, novice with audio equipment so dont be afraid of asking a question that sounds stupid! Im at the point where im considering trying to have it serviced or open in it up to check for fuses.

Sorry if something is incoherent. I usually provides pictures but am on my phone. This is the thread from th forum where someone referenced me here.
