OBO. Do you think that $250 price will go up once the phone calls start coming in?

Why should it? It's not like $250 is such an incredible deal, is it?

Read what has been written in AK pages about this receiver and you will see that this is a good price based on performance. Evaluating past selling prices, this is market correct for a CL deal, right for some BINs on the bay and low based on some bay completed auctions. But for this unit, being one of the best (read what folks have said about this receiver) receivers ever (think sound quality) is a fair deal if it truly works correctly. the volume control can only be cleaned so many times and they become dead and irreplaceable. They may also have issues and need repair. Does it have the remote, box, packing, manual...

I know a few years ago I mentioned an R-117 with an under 200 BIN and it was swooped by an AKer that needed shipping across the country making the total price about what this is and did I say it was Swooped!! not lollygagged about?

Last recent eBay sale I saw was $385, I think some have gone for more. Given what one would pay for shipping on one of those monsters on an eBay sale, a local pick up at $250 if it has remote and works well is interesting. Maybe not an absolute steal, but a good deal.
