I picked up this suitcase out of the trash, it felt like it had something in it. I looked at it closer, it had, all transistor MASTERWORK stereo phonograph written by the handle. I opened it up to find this Garrard AT6, with a Shure M8DM cart. Looked interesting, took it home hooked it up to some KLH model 15. It works and sounds pretty good. It needs a good cleaning. Any body know anything about these?

As a kid I had a Columbia Masterwork record player that was part of the same line - same kind of suitcase and logo. It was a simpler manual player that was geared to the 1960s teen 45 buyer, I suspect, but it was fun little machine. My case was a cherry red vinyl that looked a lot like a dwarf version of my dad's American Tourister luggage. I suspect you could narrow down the date of manufacture by popping it open, and finding the date codes on the pots if there isn't a date stamp. But I would guess based on my memories of it that it was made around 1966-67.

Very cool. Almost the exact same as my very first stereo was that my father gave me. Mine was branded Singer, but made by KLH. My dad had also given me the KLH Model 18 Tuner that he had connected to it. Shame the speakers for it are missing. They latched onto the sides.
