TT Tech Recommendation Ventura or Los Angeles

The title pretty much says it. I am hoping someone has had good experience with a turntable tech, preferably in Ventura but LA would be OK too.

I am sending my brother an Empire 398 and would like to find someone who can properly set it up after it arrives.

Thanks for any suggestions that you might have.

Hi Michael -- I'm in LA, so it's an hour-long drive for your brother (but very scenic along the sea with great restaurants along the way). I'm not professional, just an amateur with 30 years experience. I've reconditioned/rebuilt 3 Empires (superbly engineered turntables, and visually gorgeous). Also several Thorens, and a couple of Linns. If your Empire only requires set up, that's quite easy.
