Tube adapter/saver for Hickok 600?

I have Hickok 600 and 600A tube testers. Neither has the correct socket to test a 7868 tube. Is my best bet to buy a 7868-7591 adapter and test the 7868's using the settings for the 7591? Or is there a better way?

Also, the 9 pin socket for common tubes like 12AX7 is not in great shape on one tester so I'd like to put in a tube saver in both testers. Can anyone recommend a good one that is reasonably priced? Here's one that looks decent for $4.95.

I have a stark 9-66a, which is a hickok circuit like a 533 but has the correct socket and data for the 7868. I'm just north of hartford so if you want to come over, I can test them for you.
