Tube amp I.D ? Jimmy Fallon

Watching television last night, a new Capital One commercial came on with Jimmy Fallon and a baby. As the action was taking place I noticed what appeared to be a black tube amp, sitting on a wire rack, in the background. If this was a tube amp, can anyone I.D what model it was ?

I noticed it tonight, and snapped a pic. Why is it On a shelf with no plugs next to chemistry glassware? My guess is that it's Yaquin or something of the newer Chinese tube integrateds.

Maybe someone on set got the commercial to pay for it, then kindly offered to "dispose" of it personally?

I've think they just put it there thinking it'd look scientific. People see my amps and say they look like something used to initiate a doomsday device.

I love when people see my old Williamson amp with its plate cap tubes. They think I've got some sort of crazy bomb control device or something equally mad scientist-like. More conventional tube amps aren't as scary looking, but plate caps look intimidating.

You should have seen the one Kegger brought to the fest a couple years back. It was a prototype fresh off the bench and had no insulators on the anode top connections. We were listening to it and some dude came in and started looking at it very closely. Keg told him to be careful, there were very high voltages on those tops. So then the guy takes his hand and waves it back and forth above the tubes, like he was feeling for heat. Kegger got a little stern with the second warning and the dude moved on. Keg and I were on the edge of our seats waiting for this guy to do it, thank goodness he didn't. Man did it sound good.:music:
