If anyone is a headphone fan and wants a good inexpensive Tube Amp...may I suggest the Little Dot MK9.
It uses 6SL7 as the driver and 6080 as power tubes. The amp is unique in that it is OTC (output transformer coupled)
but, employs an advanced power supply so that it can also be OCL (output capacitor-less). It is optimized for a 120 ohm load.
It has magical synergy with Focal brand headphones, absolutely disappears, and leaves you floating about in a world of sonic bliss.
Comes with a great pair of NOS Thomson 6080's and a "Chinese" markings version of a Russian made 6SL7. Upgrade the driver and it will blow
socks off with superb sound.
