the pioneer tested out great, just needed a good deoxit bath and all controls are working.I had one channel cutting in and out with movement on the one tone defeat switch but cleaning fixed it.been pushing my IMF speakers all afternoon.
Nice dual mono integrated amp....

ya the dynaco gear is my second system{bedroom} a pair of mkiv mono blocks and 2-pas 2 preamps in there I use.Was up late listening to the pioneer and it realy is a nice piece.Of course the tube gear has that great ,accurate sound but this sa 8500ii is no slouch sound wise.I had a sa-8500 a few yrs ago and sold it and always kind of regretted the sale just do to the sound that unit put out.
Dual mono power supplys
head ph jack,
pre ins/outs/
phono stage adjustable for cartridges
tone defeat
and around 70 -80 wpc
and built like a brick sh-t house with great sound.
