Tube Preamp to AVR question

Hello,
I am just getting my beak wet in the hifi world so please forgive my novice question. I recently just snagged a Fisher 100T Tube Tuner/Preamp (haven't gotten it in the mail yet). I was planning on hooking my turntable and CD player to the inputs on the Fisher and then running "out" to the CD "IN" on My Denon AVR 2801. Will this work? TIA!

I would use the tape outputs on the 100T if it has them. This way you bypass the redundant circuits (volume etc) in the 100T that the AVR has. I have used both Preamp out and Tape out myself before. The Preamp out worked, but I prefer using the tape out for the reason mentioned.
