Tube Rolling Preamplifier

Back in December I was building a preamp to replace the headphone amp I use as a preamp and was struck by the idea to implement A/B comparison on the preamp tube by adding in additional preamp tubes and a means of switching between them.

The idea worked and since I had not seen this before (probably because it adds expense and complexity for a feature that is only of interest to a niche of tube rolling fanatics) so, notwithstanding, I applied for a patent - which is currently pending.

I created a website www.glasscityamplifiers.com which has a 5 minute demo of the prototype and a link to a features survey designed to collect feedback on what the audio community would like to see or expect from a tube rolling preamp.

In addition to survey takers I am seeking constructive criticism on this forum. I have been running it for the last 2 months and it is rock solid. The voltage and the current are constant when switching which was my primary concern. The limited feedback I have so far is all positive. I think the concept is compelling and while small I believe there is a market. Thanks for your consideration!
