Turntable Advice Request

ok... my first choice is the Technics SL-1400, followed by the SL-Q2, then the D2, I found a very clean SL-1400 for $300.00 it has a white AT cart, but I'm not sure what model yet.

Phono pre: 1st choice is the ART Precision Phono pre followed by the Schitt Mani II.

I will then have her AT-LP60 serviced so she can take it to college.

I think the SLQ2 would the better choice. It has the gimbal from the SL1200 and quartz lock, with the aluminium plinth.
I’ve played trumpet for years and with that comes pitch sensitivity. Quartz lock will be very handy keeping pitch for a musician especially
 
Look at the Pioneer PL-7. Full auto, performance as good as the Technics SL1200 (but in a much lighter platform) vary light arm that mates well with the high compliance cartridges but needs a really stable installation space because of the light weight.
