My Technics SL-D35 seems to be under the weather.
1. The tone arm doesn't clear the album when it reaches the end, skating across it to get back home.
2. The pitch won't stay in place, so albums often speed up or slow down.
3. The platter seems to be moving up and down too much. No, I don't have a leveler and not getting one.
In order to stop the tone arm skating, do I need to pull off that little rubber cap and work it from there?
Would dismantling the turntable (ugh!) and reassembling it solve any of the issues (not tone arm obvs.)?
