I bought the stereo cabinet on the left in the early 80's at one of those home improvement warehouses. Seems like it was Home Base or Home Club or something before there was Home Depot. Like a Costco membership type deal.
I had to put it together myself. Heavy as sh*t and stable as hell. Has served me well all these years.

Here is my turntable table. In its former life it was a coffee table made in shop class by a high school girl about 50 years ago. She sold it to me 2 years ago for $5, telling her that it would end up being made into boards then repurposed. She took the $5 and I loaded it up into my F150.

Shelves are pretty hot solutions, if you have the wall.

If you must have a table, go heavy. Make sure you have a way to level it precisely. Keep it as open as possible.

You can make something like this, and load the bottom shelf with weight. A diy version of the old salamander stuff, I made this one in the 90s.

Great stuff, wall mount would be great but no wall space, back to drawing board with a low shelf, no more than 18” high, possibly as tall as 24” but i gotta wait til my TT arrives, this floor space is open to a 2’x2’ top shelf, or footprint.
Eventually my TT will be connected to a separate audio only system and not part of my HT, baby steps.....
