Turntable problems

Hello,
I've recently got myself an Audio-Technica LP120XUSB with the Pioneers DM-40.
Now my problem is at high volume the speakers start vibrating like crazy and absolutely ruin the music being played, that only happens when the speakers are connected to the turntable but doesn't happen when connected to my PC, also tried connecting the TT to my computer using USB and playing the audio to my Razer Nommos and it sounded fine at full volume, what really confused me though is when I tried connected the speakers to my pc again and using the TT USB line out to connect it to the speakers (so it went tt>pc>speakers) not to use the RCA at the back of it, it sounded even worse with the vibrations happening even at mid-volume. I honestly don't know what to do.. is the tt faulty and should I return it? is it wrong connections? broken preamp from the lp120x? or is it just bad overall?

Here you go. Speakers connected directly with RCA cables and the tt is set to Line.
is it because the speakers are too close to the turntable?
 
Feed back. Speaker vibes picked up by the turntable tone arm/stylus. Same as a microphone picking up sound from speakers. Resonating

Don't feel dumb. We all started new to this, and learned through experience.

I agree with the above - get the speakers off the same table as the turntable. The turntable's picking up vibrations from the speakers, and amplifying those vibrations (creating a feedback cycle). If you can't put your speakers elesewhere, you might be able to isolate them and the turntable under anti-vibration rubber pads (available from hardware stores), or any of the many techniques that may isolate from vibration/feedback. But the best is to move the speakers away.
 
Put the speakers on that pier. That should work. :)

Actually, if you don't have anywhere else, wall mounting might work.
 
Wait, if the TT is set to line doesn't that mean it's NOT using the built in preamp? Which means the amp'd speakers are amplifying the direct needle input?

No. The outputs are Phono, Line (selected by a switch) or USB.
