I have a JVC QL-F4 turntable and was looking for other turntables with the same features; repeat and able to set it for 7", 10" and 12" records. Any recommendations? Thanks in advance!
I had a turntable with the infrared system but certain colored vinyl would make it unable to detect the correct size. Does your Technics have that issue? That's why I love how the JVC has a switch, especially shocked even for 10" records. My Technics SL-1600mkII will do all that, and the size selection is automatic via an infrared system. I rescued it from a thrift store many years ago and other than cosmetics, the only thing it needed to function was changing the tonearm belt. I have since repainted the plinth, and recapped it, as a few of the Matsushita caps were leaking.

Many of the Mitsubishi full auto tables have size sensing and repeat. LT-30, DP-EC10 DP-EC8, LT-10 for starters

As I remember some of the Linear tracking B&O tables will do that. The trouble with B&O is they need to be clean and lubed and cartridges aren't repacable any more. I would pick a Technics model myself. But then I would choose a Clear audio or other totally manual TT first. To many things to go wrong with automatic TT's. My Thorens is over 53 years old and all it needs is lubing and a new belt from time to time. Same goes for current VPI/Mark Levinson 515B.
