Aloha spinners! In the last year I have been given three tables in the wake of technology moving forward at an ever increasing pace. An AR XA (from a demolition project), Dual 731Q (from the thrift shop at the dump in Hilo Hawaii.), and now a Dennon DP 3000 with an intact Audiocraft AC 300 (from a dental assistant husband who upgraded) All need some attention, with the AC300 needing a head shell and cartridge (fluid change?), and the others needing styluses. Now am happy with my yard sale Sansui 5080 with a Sure V 15 III ( auto is nice!) and I have three locations to install them. What I don't know is if any of these are going to problematic to get up to reasonable service and relied on. Not into restoration, my construction carpenter ears are not likely to notice the effort. I do like the hardware and the look, and that they seem to represent very different approaches to the task. So taking opinions on if they are all worth the effort, or should some be passed on. Mostly classical listening, like the magic that is vinyl, mid fi set up. (Mac C-30 / QS Mini Mite, Denton 50 year,- NAD 7140, Cambridge Aero - such lai dat)
