Hey Guys,

I wanted to share a project I’ve put a lot of work into, An up to date "Nationwide Tech Directory." for vintage audio.

There has been times where I couldn’t figure out a particular issue or was just stumped and needed a second set of eyes.
For most things a post here will get me by but sometimes I’ve hit a wall and need help beyond a post. The process of trying
to find a tech is very frustrating, Most searches lead me to an outdated .pdf or some old post about a tech no longer in biz.

Coming from an IT Background I thought "There has to be a better way". Well here we are, I’ve put together what I’m calling "The Vintage Audio Directory".

This site will function as an up to date Nationwide Tech Directory as well as a place to share many of the helpful things I’ve discovered over the last few years.
It’s also my way to pay it forward to all the people that have taught me things along the way in this dying hobby.

If you want to be added to the list, please use "This Form" to submit yourself or your shop.

Please keep in mind this project has been a labor of love and was completely built for hobbyists and people who love vintage audio.
Every technician or piece of info has been hand entered and verified..

This is not just another AI data dump nor is it meant to replace anything like Hifi Engine or AudioKarma, Its simply a companion in a niche part of the hobby.

Thanks and hope it helps many..

I tried to include stuff to help amateurs all the way up to the pros as well as tons of cool sites / youtube channels etc people may not be aware of.

Does anyone have techs to recommend in the following states ?
  • Alaska
  • Hawaii
  • North Dakota
  • South Dakota
  • Utah
  • West Virginia
  • Wyoming
Unfortunately I had to remove some shops that didnt reply to my emails or phone calls, If people dont reply to be added to a free directory that will help
them they may be hard to reach when they have your gear. We want this list to only bring good experiences to people.

Hello @milesaway1 the site doesnt require a login, If your on mobile and not a desktop browser you will just have to hit the circle menu
button on the bottom left which will expose the menu you see in the screenshot above.
