They are nice but I think on the high side. I think the on the high side of each would be 2K unless it's really, really nice shape or restored.

Yup, expensive for condition and no wood cases. IMO, closer to 4k would be right. Did you see his comment about "stupidity"? Don't tempt fate, there is a SNAD in his future.

High starting price is a dead giveaway for an unwanted separation. "Look honey, I'm trying to sell them but I just can't find a buyer. Let me keep them, I'll try again in 20 years" :lmao:

Not when missing the sacred volume knob. Those are difficult to find!

$5-6K is collector condition value.

The collector market is also not excited about pieces that are not pristine. I would be at the most, maxed out amount at 4-4500 for both. That would be if I was in the market and wanting to have the pair bad. For just a normal desire maybe 12-1500 per piece in the present condition.
