Two turntables to one phono input

I have two turntables (one for my 78's and the other for LP's) that I want to hook up to my receiver. I have an integrated amp with two phono inputs that I had been using for the 78 turntable and I just ran an rca from the tape out to the tape in on the receiver. However, I just bought a reel to reel deck and also want to hook up a cassette deck to the receiver so all my inputs will be full. I was going to hook up both tables to the integrated amp and then out to the receiver phono input but I am guessing that does not work? The cheap way to go would be to use an rca switch with 2 or more in and one out to the receiver phono but I was wondering if this would possibly degrade the sound quality. Just hoping for some input and what other people might be doing that works well. Thanks

Don't you have an open AUX in you can use. Going into phono with an equilized and amplifided signal will not work. Any two or three position high level switcher would work. I got a 4 input remote box for $35 that gives me great flexibility, but do not try to switch phono low level signals.

I use this for a Yamaha CD recorder to toggle between two systems.

Set up a Y cord on the tape out of the integrated amp. It would probably have less impact on the sound quality of the tape loop then the extra switching and wiring would have on the phono playback.

Where is Radio Shack when you need them? Years ago they sold a switch box that you could hook up three tape decks to. Try not to laugh. I have one I am using on my Marantz 4270. It has only 1 phono input. Thought it would cause hum using it for turntables. But it works! Have my Dual 1010S and 1229 running through it. I think I have a three input Aux box somewhere too. They were cheap and worked!

In general cheap switch boxes will loose signal and add noise switching the tiny voltages that carts put out.

EDIT: The REK-O-KUT may be OK!

I forgot to mention that both my AUX inputs are taken (CD and laptop) so the only available is input is my phono. I think that REK-O-Kut switch is the way to go. I was hoping there was a more specific audio type switch to use. All the switches I was finding were more for video. Thanks everyone for the help.

on the Rek-o-Kut phono switch i use them no hum work great
