It was bread day at the bakery and the owner was well bred. She needed 500 loaves, so the employees kneaded 500 loaves and the yeast gave rise to the ryes. Upon opening, a priest came in to buy pumpernickel for a nun, but alas they had none. Looking out the window, Sarah observed the behavior of a sow or doe while she mixed sour dough. At 7pm, it was quitting time, but a customer demanded spice. "Sorry" said the boss, "but we just don't have the thyme." They all said goodnight before going home to their husbands whom each considered a good knight.
