Tyler Acoustics Decade D-10 Speakers on Agon

Tyler had these at the AK Fest last year and people were just "drawn" to that room all weekend long. These things sell for $13,500.00 at the Tyler Acoustic website, but here is a pair up for auction on AudioGon starting out at $5000.00 with no reserve. Whomever it is (no affiliation), started out at $6500.00 a couple of weeks ago, then has come down twice since then. These speakers are only 4 months old! I'd jump all over these myself, but I don't have a room in my house nearly big enough to allow these speakers to breath. So, all you folks out there with huge listening rooms looking for a smoking deal on a killer pair of speakers, here you go: http://cgi.audiogon.com/cgi-bin/auc.pl?spkrfull&1270258587

Oh, and the reason I've been keeping track of this deal is, I have a pair of Tyler Acoustic speakers myself (much smaller than the D-10s) and I just love them, so I thought I'd spread the wealth, so to speak. Someone really needs to grab these.

Those look great, i have the room for those, but every time I've tried to upgrade from my IRS Sigma, it was a failure, i always get different but not better sound. Maybe some bass modules and modular speakers.

Wow, now I see he got rid of his $5000.00 minimum bid??? It was just there when I posted the auction to start this thread. I wonder what his reserve is now? Hmmmm. :scratch2:

Nice to see it's not just hoarders here, and a few real audionuts are still in the loop.

Butter my butt and call me a biscuit, I couldn't be happier.

Cheers,
Russ

Oh, there's plenty of us audio nuts around, and it keeps getting worse.

:D

You got a big listening room Russ, those Tyler D-10's would take care of that for you. Oh, and no subwoofers required.

Well the auction ended and these 4 month old $13,500.00 speakers went for $5000.00!

Wow, somebody is doing a bunch of this right now!
