Yes one channel is inverted and then the channels are converted to mono, a good way to hear mistrackings. I´m a bit surpriced that it sounds this bad, are You really sure the VTF is correctly measured. I would not play records if it sounds like this.
According to my Digital scale VTF is somewhere between 1.8g and 1.9g.

I would test with better cartridges if it sounds like this, possibly also this needle isn´t ok.

Maybe try the original with the same test you did with the seemingly faulty one.
That's the right alignment, but I agree with gusten. Checked the files with audacity, and it's probably that the distortion you hear is from the brick walling on the recording.However, if, as he says, it is mistracking, then the culprit could be a damaged needle, wrong antiskate, which you can't set on the U turn, wrong tracking weight, which you've fine tuned, incorrect alignment, or arm bearings.

What do you think of the way the original cart sounds? I just want the A-Ok to start using that one on my records before I return the 2m Red.
Im thinking if I can get a refund for the 2m red ill probably just order the Grado Blue1 through U-Turn.
Could any of this be caused by the cheap chinese tubes that come with the little bear v2.2 tube pre-amp?

I agree with Gusten. I had the same problem when I had the 2M Red --- regardless of what tracking force was used. Ended up selling it after only two months.
Since the stock cartridge installed by U-Turn didn't give the OP any problems it's a problem with the 2Mred and/or the installation by the OP. On top of that it doesn't seem like his phono pre turned out to be much of a performer or a bargain either. By all accounts U-Turn does a thorough job of checking their Orbits before they leave the factory. I'd ship the Orbit back to U-Turn at your cost and have a better cartridge installed by them and also consider purchasing U-Turns Pluto phono preamp and don't screw with anything when you get it back.

I don´t know, it does sound different, I don´t know if it´s better. The problem is I don´t know how this record would sound if I played it with my components, so how to attribute certain aspects of the sound to Your components is very difficult. But to be listenable it really should sound better IMO, but the causes could be anything in Your setup, including the record itself.
