These sold for almost $2000 just over 20 years ago so $100 is a bargain as long as you can find someone to sort that bad woofer. The last pair I saw over here on Ebay went for £700 in working order.
The upper midrange cone is the first ever laser-etched driver, also used in a couple of the later Wharfedales bookshelves. Woofer and lower midrange are styrofoam Sandwiches...there was an advert which involved Mr Leak standing on one of his cones to show the strength. Difficult to keep the surrounds supple though.
