.....next is a more defining example of being tackled by the dreadlocks....flags flew, but were rescinded....the hair was ruled to NOT be a part of the football uniform, and a player COULD be tackled by his hair....this happened two years ago, and I'm surprised it evidently hasn't happened much since, or at least I haven't seen it.....

It happened in a Lions game too.Either last season or the season before.
Of course the Lions were hit with a horse collar penalty.
 
If that much of his hair came out he would have been writhing in agony after. I'm thinking what came out were a handful of extensions.:scratch2:
 
Didn't scalping end with the end of the Old West days? And didn't even the Indians ("Native Americans") use knives to scalp with, instead of just ripping off the scalp?


Methinks those things might well be fake weaves. 313 guy has it right; to rip out that much REAL hair would be extremely painful, and rather bloody. The player who had that done to him would not be walking around and playing right after that! :no:
