the rider who went down (after going waaaaaay up), Chad Reed, picked up the bike, and passed 26 other riders on the way to finishing 14th. Motorcycle racers, dirt and asphalt, are a different breed.

If I did that, I'd be laid up for a year, or forever . Lucky bro!!!

I guess there's something to all the body armor that the young guys are using today. When I got into motocross in 1980, it was a helmet (OPTIONAL), and nylon jersey and pants, and old workboots if you couldn't afford a pair of MX boots. But I guess when you compare what I raced, and this FMX stuff today, it's not even related.
