My Polk Monitor 10B speakers have Serial number 10B-121965 and the other is 10B-121978, I asked Polk for help identifying the year made. I wrote Polk and got this response:
"Unfortunately Polk Audio didn’t keep the best of records at this time. I would suggest going by the date on your sticker. Did the best I could asking around, sorry I couldn’t give you what you wanted. Here's a link that should help out www.polksda."
Okay, so 1 sticker says "1965"...of course that is incorrect. Can anyone decipher Polk serial numbers so I can find out what year exactly was that sticker was slapped on the back of my monitor 10B's? And, yes, the polksda said 10B's were made only in 1979, and I know that is not true since several members here bought 10B's over several years. Thanks.
