In case anyone needs a couple of reproductions, I'd be glad to send at n/c.
I guessed at their actual size by their relation to the terminals.
They are approx. 3" x 4". If I'm way off on the size, please send the actual measurements...they would be easy to re-size.
They will be on photographic paper.
They aren't perfect repo's, but will do.

Yes, they are. It's been a while since I cracked them open, but I think horn mid and tweeter and a 12" woofer? I've got a thread in the D&S section of the forum that shows pics of the inside...
That corner cab is cool. I'd use those little shelves to hold some of my CD's or something music-related.

Please note, those holes that look like "shelfs" are (for lack of a better term) "ports" which aid in the overall sound of the Brociner design Cab. That Cab is a HEAVY (and thick) sucker and is quite well constructed. I find it amazing that a simple 12" University 6201 Co-axial full range driver can sound so wonderful due in LARGE part to the Brociner Cab. AK member GT liked THIS speaker better than my big Stephens (E3 type) Tru-Sonic Horn 3-way. The Brociner/University Corner Horn is one of my favorite vintage Speakers especially of Female voices and Classic Jazz.

I'm listening to a pair of Universities right now. They are an easy-to-love speaker!
What was this model called? The cab looks just like that Goodmans model from the early '60's with the slanted front like that.
I love speakers with this kind of sound. Super-engaging/musical with smooth highs, perfect mids, and a very-organic, fleshed-out low-end response. Some people call it "innaccurate" or "colored-sounding", but I actually think it's the opposite. I want a speaker that draws me in like a tractor beam. To me, that's equally as important as any specs. If a speaker doesn't emotionally-engage me, then it's not what I'd call "accurate". Whatever the case, that's my preference, and the old Universities apparently do this very-well. If I hadn't discovered Wharfedales, I could just as easily ended up with some old Universities. They're in that same club, so to speak. I started off trying to find some Bozaks but some Wharfedales came up in CT at a price I couldn't refuse, and it went on from there (And I have Six Cats to thank for my current Wharfies... Jesus, these things are so-much fun to wake up to in the morning, the way they can totally floor me at such a low volume like they're doing right now... I'm betting that those Medallion XII's are like that as well where you don't have to crank them to get great sound).
I love a speaker that's super-smooth while still able to remain very-detailed, clear, and dynamic, with good separation/space between instrument, and it sounds like the Medallion XII's do this well. I bet the OP's sound great with even the most-mundane, overplayed '60's and '70's classic rock/pop, like the stuff you hear on oldies and classic rock radio stations (Mid-late '60's Beatles stuff must be divine through those). I've been keeping my eyes out for a pair of nice Universities, although it may be a while. I love a speaker with class AND personality. Too-many speakers out there look like a monolith with a couple holes cut into it's impenetrable surface. Personally, I think the OP's Medallion XII's are one of the best-looking pairs of speakers I've ever seen. Stylistically, they are perfect, although didn't he change the grillcloth? That one small change took them from "meh'" to perfect (That black stuff they had originally, if I remember correctly, was kinda' hideous).
I would LOVE to find a pair of those S-series University models. The cabs look similar to the old EV stuff (like the Regency Aristocrat, and others), but with a voicing that's MUCH-more to my liking (I've never been a big EV guy for hi-fi use... They're great for pro use, but like the old Jensens, they're not my cup of tea for home hi-fi usage).

That must have been an SOB to get up those stairs, the way that thing is shaped. It's hard enough carrying speakers DOWN those steps, but heading up them must seem twice as hard... (By the way, I'm not sure if I mentioned it or not, but those W60's worked out really-well... I spent a month with them before I got the big boys home... Much-nicer than I expected).

Yikes! I just found this thread and realized I never replied. I'm very happy the Wharfedale W-60's worked out well for you. I knew you would appreciate them and that you would "get them up to speed". Regarding moving the W90's up stairs....yea....it was somewhat a PITA but, not too bad. However, in the last year or so, I had to hire a "handy man" and (using a Refrig. Dolly) we both CAREFULLY (move DOWN from the Top floor to the Basement) that crazy hugh ELECTROVOICE Horn speaker (must weight close to 300 lbs.) and also that (not quite as large) UNIVERSITY Horn Speaker. Oooh God, what a job! So, gone from my main "Audio Room".....that beautiful mint pair of ESS AMT 1's as well as the two (Klipsch designed) "THE REBEL" Corner Horns (I still have them though). So, that's FOUR big Ass systems no longer in my "Audio Room". Whooops! Make it FIVE systems lol, I forgot about the WHARFEDALE W90's. Anyway, life is so much more simple now. I have the Stephens Tru-Sonic Horn, the "Brociner back loaded Corner Horn with the 12" University 6201 Co-axial and a small Stereo system (presently using an old NAD and ADS Sat. 5's).
I'm TRYING to keep it under control! I'm a bit OCD when it comes to this stuff.

Hey there... :wave: You and me both. I'm OCD in life, but I keep my hi-fi "condition" down to one main system. I can't serve more than one master (Not a good multi-tasker), and I'm a lousy chess-player (If I played someone like me, the game would go take FOREVER). I'm more the artistic-type. Organization's never been my strong suit. BUT, that means I get to put all my eggs in one basket.
Just added a '64 Fisher 800c for the Wharfies this past week. They're quite-happy.
I'm trying to remember the OTHER University. I remember the Brociner, which is all about the warm, cozy, and uber-musical (and that's always been my thing), but what did the other one look like? You must have shown me 15 different things that day.
I kinda' feel like I'm starting over with my setup, or at least moving in a different direction. And this surely will not be my first tube rig (I said one system, but it's good to have a few spares kicking around). But what I mean to say is that it was not part of the original plan. I REALLY-want a Leak, but that's gonna' take some digging, but I'm gonna' enjoy the 800c like crazy until that day comes (Jeez, now I see how people can amass these big collections). Leak & Wharfedale seem like they would be the best combination (I ultimately-want a full-on British setup, and I think Leak is the answer... I can picture the sound in my head... That warm, super-lush sound... I like the old British LP masterings for the same reasons).
And speaking of British, I LOVE the W60's. It took a month or two of playing them, but they opened right up. I like the sound of those a lot. To me, those and a Leak would be the ultimate British bookshelf system.

OK, so perhaps I'm not so "in control" of my OCD. Today, I hooked up FOUR systems. I removed my KLIPSCH KG 3.2 from the down stairs Bedroom as the wife wanted more room. No problem, I just replaced the KG 3.2's with my (made in Japan) pair of REALISTIC MINIMUS 7's (with a NAD C350) and the TV Audio Sat. system and it sounds fine (plus a lot more space to move). I then took the KLIPSCH 3.2's and set them up in the Basement with my FISHER 400 Tube Receiver with OUTSTANDING results! I first however had to DIS-connected the hugh EV and the large UNIVERSITY (large Blond wood cab with 15" University Woofer, University mid horn and University horn tweeter) and pushed them both up against the wall and out of the way! The FISHER 400 and KG 3.2's are more than fine for my Basement system. Later, I took my vintage REALISTIC SAF-40 (7189's) Integrated Amp back upstairs to my main "Audio Room" and connected it with a pair of AMBIENT INC. RD22 Speakers. Man, those ol' AMBIENT INC. Speakers are amazing sounding, especially considering their small'ish size. The SAF-40 (20 Watts per channel) is a darn good match for the AMBIENT INC. being a bit less efficient than say EPI's, BOSTONS, ADS, KEF's, B&W, etc. It's a toss up between the BOZAK and AMBIENT INC. Bookshelf Speakers as to which is the better. BOTH are excellent! Of course the (seeming rare) AMBIENT INC. Speakers are a real "SLEEPER"! Anyway.....so now I'm back to FOUR systems in the "Audio Room". The thing is, I HAD to use/play the SAF-40 as I did not want it sitting idle for too long. Lucky for me, she fired right up and sounds excellent. I've been listening to CANNONBALL's "Somethin' Else". Nice! So.....LEEK eh ? Yikes! All I can say is "happy hunting" GT. I sure hope you find one but, relax and take some time and enjoy that new FISHER 800. I understand about wanting something "different". I've been wanting a SET AMP for my Tru-Sonic for some time but, I have other needs. One day perhaps, one day.
