Unknown tower speakers in Hopewell Junction, NY - $60/pair

They definitely don't look like white van speakers. Anyone recognize them? I was thinking maybe KEF but couldn't find a match.

I think most KEF speakers have the drivers staggered for time alignment. The logo is blurry but I'm thinking Boston Acoustics or maybe even Polk Audio. Unless you get a hernia loading them, $60 is probably a good price.

The tweeter top T1030 variant was sold in the same distribution as the ADS L1290 @ ~60% of the $$$. Once you recovered from the L1290 sticker shock you might be sold into the BA line. (Same with L470-L880 & BA HD line.) I was at ADS when the M12 series came out and shortly after, the new variant of the T1030 with midrange up top was out. Not a slam, the BAs are good speakers and these at $60 is a crazy good deal. Beware foam rot, they almost certainly will have it.

Boston used the CFT tweeter in many guises, same impedance, varying only in front plate style. I've not had one apart in a long time so I cannot recall how the dome is mounted. If it resides on a carrier like the Philips, you simply swap the original top plate onto whatever dome/magnet assembly you have with (4) mounting screws around the dome.

Not if you want them swechsler, and even if you do not, it would be a complicated transaction for me. I have an acquaintance who lives near there. And while I'm sure he would buy them for me, I'm not sure as to how I'd get them to Chicago and we just visited them in November..

Nope they are ba t1000 were totl and sold new for 2,000 awesome speakers.

This is also a good possibility.
