Unsolvable PROBLEM,,,,

So here is my issue. Many of you have chimed in over the last couple months as I've tried to narrow down the issue I am having. I am at a loss. Below is a rough timeline of the issue I have experienced and the steps I have undergone to isolate the problem...I am beyond stumped. I just want my system to work as intended and it seems to be impossible for some unknown reason...

1. I bought a new SVS SB 12 sub for my pioneer 850 and AR2ax speakers, and Luxman PD277 Turntable. All worked flawlessly before the sub. When the sub was hooked up one speaker started to crackle when powered on and lose power to one channel. It does this with FM stereo and TUrntable connected.
2. Took the receiver to the tech like 3 different time and he insisted nothing was wrong and it had to be the sub.
3. I hooked up my old JVC receiver to the sub and it worked great for a few days then the same problem.
4. I wanted to try some new gear so I bought a Marantz 2325 and some JBL 4312s
5. Hooked em up and worked great alone. Introed the sub, worked great for a day and then the next day the same problem.
6. I bought new cables and all was ok...then the problem came back.
7. Finally I called SVS and they sent out a brand new amp for the brand new sub. Worked great for one night and the next day the same problem on the marantz and ARs...hooked up the JBLs and the same problem.
8. I have now tried three different set ups with three totally differnt combos...they all work great by themselves but as soon as I intro the sub the problem pops up a day later!!! WTH!!!!
9. I borrowed a velodyne sub from a friend. THe SVS only has RCA connects for my receiver into the pre in/mains....THe velodyne has the speaker inputs. The pre-in / mains connections are the last thing I can think that is causing this issue....I am at a total loss here.....

Have you tried eliminating the Y's and routing the signal into and out of the sub?

I believe your SVS sub has both in and out rca jacks.

Jerry

Do you mean instead of using Y's use two separate cables? For a total of four cables?

Have you tried switching channels on the sub inputs and/or outputs? Since the crackling is in one channel.

Has someone replaced the Brilliant Pebbles on that channel with Pop Rocks? (Sorry, couldn't resist)

If the old SVS and new SVS amp both have a problem, then it sounds like it may be a splitter issue or could be an issue in the SVS amps that have a sensor problem sensing a signal. This might be remedied if the auto turn-on circuit is disabled and the sub is left in an always on position and is plugged into the back of your receiver for power instead.

Since it tends to happen a couple days later, I would tend to look at the auto sensing circuit.

I spent several years and rebuilt a preamp circuit board several times because of a similar issue. Eventually I figured out it was an adapter cable! Change the cables/splitter just to rule them out.

If this is your sub, then it looks like it has high level input/output.

Yeah Y splitters

You cannot do this. SVS expects line level signal from BASS MANAGEMENT system, That system works like a crossover between preamp and power amplifier. So it gets two line level inputs from preamp, then filters low frequencies from both channels, merges them together and send to subwoofer. It then sends high frequencies from each channel to power amplifier driving main speakers. AV receivers do it all internally (in most cases digitally). If you want to keep all analog path, you need to buy subwoofer that has bass management circuit embedded inside its amplifier. So that it accepts two line level signals from preamp, and outputs two line level signals to power amp.

Yeah when I switch the problem switches to the other speaker

I hope I didn't make things more confusing. It looks like there is a model SD12-NSD that does not have high level input/output...
