Although I pick up quite a few LPs at the GW, most of the time they are common stuff with a few gems here and there. Yesterday evening I stopped in at the GW I frequest the most and came away with a batch that seemed unusually good:
Willie Nile - Golden Down
Dr. John Plays Mac Rebennack
Taj Mahal - Happy Just To Be Like I Am
Mr. John Cale - Honi Soit
Dr. John - Tango Palace
Roky Erickson - Clear Night For Love
Steve Forbert - Jackrabbit Slim
Taj Mahal - Oooh So Good 'n Blues
On top of that, a trip to the record store in San Marcos earlier in the week yielded a couple of winners also:
Johnny Winter - Second Winter
Son Seals - Bad Axe
This should keep me busy for a while
