Upgrade recommendations

My current main speakers are EPI 110Cs driven by an NAD 3080. I've had the 110Cs for about a year and am happy with them, but in the "never be satisfied" spirit would like upgrade recommendations. What can I get that will sound significantly better than the 110Cs? Please limit recommendations to speakers approximately the same size as the 110Cs - space is limited. Towers are ok - they would probably take up about the same space as the 110Cs and the Realistic 22" stands underneath them. Thanks in advance for all responses.

The idea of something that "sounds significantly better" is a personal subjective matter, so listening to other speakers first hand is the way to go if possible.

Dynaco A-25's would probably sound better to most listeners. I really like my little pair of Monitor Audio Bronze BR-1's in my bedroom and would recommend any of the larger "BR" series models which include some tower models. They are probably too large but the Polk LS-50,70, & 90 models sound very good.

I used to work for RSL and am bit biased to say the least, but the RSL "CG" series speakers sound very good. The CG-8A Model would be a definite improvement over your EPI models as I owned a pair of original EPI 100's way back when and was not overly impressed and now I own two pairs of RSL CG-6A's.
 
I went from EPI 100's in my main rig to KEF 103.2's.

I am a huge fan of my EPI's and still have them, but the KEF's are in another league in my opinion. Really balanced and detailed, can listen for hours.
 
I was going to say Dynaco A25 as well. Or KLH 23 slightly larger. Maybe AR 2AX or some ADS's.

Thanks for all the recommendations - I'll see what's available in my area, determine the budget and go from there.
