Upgrading Soundbar Satellite Speakers

I have the Vizio 5.1 soundbar.
I also have a set of the Pioneer Andrew Jones bookshelf speakers.

Can I use the Pioneers to replace the two satellite/surround speakers that came with the Vizio soundbar?

If so, do I go from the Vizio subwoofer to my little $25 power amp and into the Pioneers, or will the subwoofer power the speakers?

Look guys, obviously I'm not dealing with anything fancy. It's a studio apartment. Yes, I'd love to throw money at a better setup, but please save the sales pitches (for now).

How are the Vizio speakers powered now? If they all plug into the subwoofer for power then that's how you'd hook up the Pioneers. If not, could you tell us the model number of the soundbar?

The soundbar plugs in and communicates with the subwoofer wirelessly. The woofer is plugged in and the two satellite speakers plug into that. Just not sure if it's enough power for the Pioneers. And then wasn't sure if something weird would happen if I added a small power amp in between the two. I'll try it.

Just plug in the Pioneer's the same way the others are and give it a try. Don't add the other amp as that could blow up, well, a lot of stuff!

If it sounds fine to you than you're probably good to go. The only problem I could foresee would be the surround speakers will sound better than the rest of the system.
