Uploading "JPG" files, not "jpg"

Hello. Everytime I need to upload an image file, I click on the "Upload a File" button, the "IMG" files are not visible in the browser window, even if "all files" is selected. I need instead to go to my operative system widow, rename the desired files to ".jpg" instead of ".JPG" , and then they are recognized by the forum software.

Is it possible to change this, so JPG files can be recognized?

I just tested by using a file on my system with a filename with UPPER CASE extension - JPG
- moody-blues-50th.JPG - as you can see, I was able to upload that file just fine without needing to rename it.
JPG (and lower case .jpg) files ARE accepted on this website.

You must have another problem. Are you pictures really LARGE??
Like, over 3 or 5 meg?? I think the forum software has a limit on huge file sizes ...

So where are you getting .IMG files from ?
.IMG format is NOT an accepted picture format name ...
The forum software only allows the 8 types shown in the "chooser" box I copied below.

Never realized all those formats were acceptable.
I've only done .jpg and .png
Wonder what it does with a .zip file.

Edited: UPDATE: I see with another browser the JPG files are shown. So it seems "browser related".

Just lower case extensions are shown, I don't know why:

Could it be OS related? I didn't try on other Operative System.
