Uploading pictures

Anybody else having problems uploading pictures?The popup window just sits there,and does nothing.You can leave it open for hours,and you neither get your pictures uploaded,or a message saying your pictures didn't upload.I have tried it in three different browsers,and get the same result.

Is this because I have a crappy internet connection?

I get that only on Explorer , but not a hitch on Crome .

Have you considered using a photo hosting service like Photobucket? That would bypass any problems with AK.

If you do that, the pictures are then not part of the archive that is AK.

The response you describe typically is caused by pictures that exceed the 900x900 image size, and/or the 195kb file size limits.

Check your image properties, and change what needs changing. The u/l should be rapid, and it's working fine.

I was having the same problem - message was for a connection failure - then I realized I was in violation of the 900X900 rule - trimmed all my pictures - tried again - still no go. Flipped over to Google Chrome and it worked like a champ! Also - Chrome was so much faster I think I'll start using it all the time. It also had real time spell check when filling in boxes like this one! Very handy.
