Upstate New York Electronics Estate Sale

Sweet fancy Moses. I wish I was in upstate NY this weekend. That Heathkit receiver looks a lot like my AR-15. What were the prices like for round 1?

The condition of everything seemed pretty good. I still find it hard to believe that one man collected all this stuff and had it all set up in racks. Prices were good, I ended up getting a r2r, a cassette deck and a turntable. Lots of racks full of tuners, pre-amps and tape decks still there.

I think I see a vintage Teac tuner and amp, super rare stuff there and looks to be in great shape. Way to far away for me too.

This seems sad to me. Some poor old codger probably couldn't bear to part with his collection while he was alive. Now one of his life's passions is posted on CL like cheap rubbish. :tears:
