If any of you are interested there is a great stock and super stock drag race happening in Columbus Ohio the first weekend in May. There should be between 300-400 stock and super stock cars racing that weekend. For those of you not familiar with the two classes, you can look forward to great racing, big wheel stands and a great car show. These two classes are the roots of drag racing going back to the early days. Class eliminations are Friday, with a couple of special races on Saturday and final eliminations on Sunday. My son Andrew and I will be there with our race cars. If any of you come be sure and find us and introduce yourselves. This is a huge race for us with competitors from all over the country.

Thunderbolts, 409s and Max Wedges, oh my!

This is the type of thing that could boost drag racing. Has anyone noticed the semi empty stands at the pro events?
 
Best real racing NHRA has to offer! I wish it would be televised. Hard to believe what those SuperStocks run.
