Would like to keep cost under a couple hundred.
Needs to for sure take in composite video and at least mono sound, but s-video, stereo, and even component video are cool too if it happens to work out that way.
Primary purpose will be to record video onto laptop from a portable video camera/monitor system.
Whatcha' been using and how well does it work (eg, dropouts, software/hardware crashes, etc.)?
