Using mini EQ with headphone setup?

I posted a while ago about the latest piece of my headphone setup, a Gustard h10 amp. I'm finding that I'm liking it and liking it more than going direct out of the headphone jack of my Marantz 2270 receiver, which actually doesn't sound too bad either. There's just one thing that I'm less than crazy about regarding the output from the Gustard amp, that it seems to roll off the high end just a bit more than I'd like. I'm using Hifiman Sundara phones with it and more recently got a set of Sennheiser HD6xx and they both, particularly the Sennheisers, which are a bit dark to begin with, a bit too soft in the treble for my liking. I'm thinking about picking up one of those little Schiit Loki 4 band EQs to use in line with my headphone setup and then mostly use the control for the high treble part to restore some top end to the sound. Is this a good way to go for what I'm trying to achieve, or are there perhaps other better options? I don't really feel like I need a bigger EQ with more controls and besides that, I don't really even have room for it...

There may be better equalizer. Schiit offers a six band. I've not tried one.
I have Lokis in two headphone setups. Works for me.
Now listening to Asgard3 with Loki and Sundaras.

Cool.... I'm cheap, and the 4 band seems to be far less expensive, and far more common, so probably easier to find on the used market. I saw one selling for cheap of FB Marketplace, not long ago, but it was too far away. Good to know that this thing works well with a headphone setup, though honestly, there's it seems that there's no reason why it wouldn't.

Even though I have a couple of nice sets of phones to choose from, a dedicated headphone amp and lost of music that sounds amazing through all of that, I don't even listen to headphones all that much, though I like the option of doing so! I did a little bit of headphone listening the other night, playing with both the Sundaras and HD6XX phones, and both sounded very good, though I feel like they may be even better with a bit of EQ adjustment...

I have both of the headphones that you do. I use the Loki Mini to dial in the sound that I want. It would be a good purchase.

Cool... I'm on the hunt for one of these things.! I find it a bit odd though that I want one for headphones and yet, I never mess with EQ for my speakers, even though my amp has 3 band EQ (it's almost always set flat). I figure that the tuning of headphones is more "baked-in," whereas the tuning of speakers really depends on the room, so EQ would make more sense for that than for phones... but apparently not.

Headphones are a more imitate experience, if you will. I was trying to find a better way to describe it but that's all that I have. Lol.

Speaker placement, sitting position and room treatment can be tweeked. Some speakers have tweeter adjustment. But phones are used as is. That's why EQ is useful.
