I have a Marantz 2220 that sounds great on smaller JBL's(at work and can't remember the model number-isn't important). I'm wanting to hook this receiver to my 3 zone set-up.
I have a Marantz SR-5008 that is currently set up to it but the video card went out. All I want is stereo mode in these three zones.
Ok, now the question. Would my 2220 still sound ok using the tape out as pre-amp and going to SR-5008 just for the amp and speaker zone set-up?
Being it's a Marantz amp(5008) should I expect it to match up well with the 2220?
