Using the MEN220 Room Correction System with McIntosh Integrated Amp

I've been thinking of upgrading my floorstanding speakers but a sales rep suggested that I get the McIntosh MEN220 Room Correction System instead.

I took a look at the online connection diagram and user manual but can't figure out how to connect it to a McIntosh integrated amp. The connection diagram shows a pre-amp + amp setup but no integrated amp setup.

So, how would the MEN220 unit connect to a McIntosh integrated amp like the MA7200?

Your integrated doesn't have a tape/processor loop, but from reading the manual it seems you'd be able to remove the jumper on the back, send output 1 into the MEN220 and then the MEN220's output into the pwr amp in jack.

Remove the Preamp out/Poweramp In jumpers and connect it that way.

I'm using mine as a 2 way stereo Active crossover so I have two power amps, but you can set it up any way you want if you are just using one power amp and passive speakers.

I can't think of any reason you'd put it in a processor loop, the MEN220 has a bypass on it...

The MEN220 bypass doesn't bypass the AD/DA conversion, without a loop you can't remove it fully from the signal path.

If you are using it as a crossover you can't remove it from the signal path anyway.
Seems a waste to buy a MEN only to use room perfect when it can do so much more.
I guess some folk may want to do that in which case yes if you reckon you can hear the converters then you need to use the processor loop.

Can you enlighten me as to what the "so much more" is aside from being used as a crossover? I don't need a crossover, I use mine for room perfect, what is the "so much more" that I'm missing out on? Sounds like I haven't been using mine to the fullest potential, can you help me with that? The bullet points from the manual are:
Room Correction - I'm using that.
Focus and Global Settings - I use those.
Electronic Crossover - Don't use that.
Variable Crossover Settings - Don't use that.
Listening Equalization Curves - I use those.
Precision Measurement Microphone - I've used that too.
Professional Microphone Stand with Boom - Yep, used that.
Multiple Outputs - I only used balanced out, maybe that's what I'm missing out on?
Multi-Function Front Panel Display - I use that.
Power Control and Full Function Remote Control - I use this every time I turn my system on.
Special Power Supply - Kinda hard to NOT use this one.
Extruded Side Panels - Oh yeah, use these all the time.
Fiber Optic Solid State Front Panel Illumination - My favorite feature!

Oh I think it might have just been a poor choice of words.
I actually don't use room perfect, I used it in my other room at the old house, but my new house, I have run it, but the system sounds better bypassed, my listening space is much better in my new house.
I think what I might have been meaning is how complex the crossover is, its capable of a lot of different crossover filters ect etc....its very flexible.
MEN220 is a powerful tool.
